Prof. Dr. Sevde Altuntaş and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Katı, researchers of our center, were entitled to support the project titled “Investigation of the Effectiveness of Antimicrobial Peptide Produced from Waste Chicken Feather to be Used as Feed Additive in Broiler Ration in In Vitro and In Vivo Conditions” prepared within the scope of TAGEM R&D Support Program 17th Project Call. In the project where animal studies will be carried out at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, the potential of peptide materials produced from waste chicken feathers as feed additives will be investigated. It is thought that the study will contribute to the process of transforming the wastes generated in the poultry industry into high value-added products.
