Visit from Istanbul Atlas University to SBU DETUAM

As the Experimental Medicine Research and Application Center (DETUAM) of the University of Health Sciences, we were pleased to host representatives from Istanbul Atlas University at our center.

As part of the visit, Dr. Merve Alökten from the Scientific Secretariat of the Rectorate, Dr. Burcu Gülez, Researcher at the Brain Research and Artificial Intelligence Application and Research Center, Hüseyin Sarpkaya, Erhan Özdemir, Rectorate Business Development and Project Coordinator, Gülşen Nişli, Director of the Technology Transfer Office, and Furkan Gevrek, Director of TEKMER, visited the SBU DETUAM laboratories.

During the visit, our Center Director, Prof. Dr. Şaban Tekin, introduced our laboratory infrastructure, provided an on-site overview of our advanced technological equipment, and shared information about the research activities carried out at our center. In addition, potential collaborations and service procurement opportunities related to the analysis and testing services offered by DETUAM were discussed.

Within the scope of the meetings, opportunities for developing joint projects supported by the Presidency of Turkish Health Institutes (TÜSEB) and TÜBİTAK between the University of Health Sciences and Istanbul Atlas University were evaluated. Furthermore, a framework for establishing a cooperation protocol with clearly defined objectives and goals was discussed, along with technical and consultancy support regarding the accreditation processes of laboratories planned to be established within Istanbul Atlas University.
