Device Description
It is used for obtaining ultrathin sections for TEM, surface preparation for SEM and AFM examinations, and semi-thin section preparation for light microscopy and FTIR.

- The device has a microscope carrier that can rotate 90 °C.
- Sectioning is possible from 1 nm thickness up to 15 microns.
- The cutting speed of the device can be adjusted between 0.05 and 100 mm/second.
- The knife holder can move 25 mm motorized to the right and left (E-W).
- The knife holder can move at least 10 mm motorized forward and backward.
- With the ultramicrotome device, it is possible to prepare ultrathin sections at nano and micro thicknesses.
