Publication of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Güzel Tanoğlu’s Study on Aspirin Resistance and Genetic Factors
A study conducted by Esra Güzel Tanoğlu, a faculty member of the University of Health Sciences Experimental Medicine Research and Application Center, investigating the impact of the ABCB1 (MDR-1) C3435T gene polymorphism on the etiology of sudden stroke in patients with aspirin resistance has been published.
The study examined the effects of genetic variations on clinical outcomes in patients with aspirin resistance, with particular focus on the relationship between alterations in the ABCB1 gene region and the risk of stroke.
The findings are expected to make significant contributions to personalized treatment approaches and the early identification of high-risk patient groups. We congratulate our researcher and wish her continued success in her scientific endeavors.
