Device Description
ORTE is a device that combines electrophoresis and gel documentation system. Electrophoresis can be viewed through a window without the need for safety glasses. The entire electrophoresis process can be recorded, replayed and studied. Agarose, low melting agarose and acrylamide gels can be applied. DNA and RNAs are pre-stained with dyes such as SYBR Green or SYBR Gold, which are harmless to humans, without the use of ethidium bromide. In this way, the electrophoresis process can be monitored from beginning to end.
