Microbioreactor (Biolector II)

Biolector II Microbioreactor
Device Description
The BioLector II Microbioreactor is a multi-bioreactor system suitable for microbial, fungal and algae studies with real-time assessments of biomass, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO) and fluorescence for aerobes and anaerobes.
- Allows batch feeding experiments under anaerobic conditions.
- Has an airtight construction, the BioLector II microbioreactor supports anaerobic cultivation without the need to place an anaerobic chamber.
- Gassing with O2 in the range of 1% to 100%
- Gasting with 0% to 12% CO2
- Able to adjust gas consumption to a few mL/minute
- Optional humidification of gases
- Feed strategy developmentFeed rate optimization
- Media scanning and optimization
- Cultivation parameter optimization
- Creating a pH profile
- Strictly anaerobic and microaerophilic cultivations in batch and batch feeding mode
- Cultures with high oxygen (up to 100%) and high carbon dioxide (up to 12%)
- Cell line and strain scanning
- Synthetic and systems biology
- Statistical design of experiments (DoE)
- Growth characterization
- High-throughput protein expression
- Enzyme and cell activity tests
- Functional genomics
