Fourrier Transform-Infrared (FT-IR) Spektroskop

Fourier Transform Infra Red Spectrometer

Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS50

Device Description

Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy is a spectroscopy technique in which the absorption and emission infrared spectrum of a solid, liquid or gaseous substance is obtained. It basically relies on the absorption of infrared light by the substance under study. Absorption occurs when the necessary amount of wave energy for vibration and rotation of the bonds in the molecule is sent by the device from the infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum.
