Fourrier Transform-Infrared (FT-IR) Spektroskop

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer

Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS50

Device Description

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy is a spectroscopic technique used to obtain the absorption and emission infrared spectrum of a solid, liquid, or gaseous substance. It is mainly based on the absorption of infrared light by the substance being examined. Absorption occurs when the amount of wave energy required for the vibration and rotation of the bonds in the molecule is sent by the device from the infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum.
