Device Description
It is a technique in which the mass of a sample is monitored as a function of temperature (thermal) or time (equilibrium) under a controlled atmosphere and a controlled temperature program. With the TGA device, properties of different materials such as melting and sublimation temperatures, mass loss/gain, phase transition, and oxidation can be determined.
